Captain Phillip G. Sherman was an army psychiatrist who makes a one-time appearance in the episode "Bananas, Crackers and Nuts" (Season 1, episode #7). The part of Phillip Sherman was played by Stuart Margolin in his first guest appearance. Margolin would return later to play the plastic surgeon Major Stanley "Stosh" Robbins.
