Operation Playtime is what Andy's toys attempt to execute in getting a now 17-year-old Andy to play with them before he departs for college in Toy Story 3. The operation involves the toys using a cordless phone to dial the number of Andy's cellphone (which Sarge and his two last paratroopers take to the toys in Andy's toy box). The operation nearly works, as Andy picks up his cellphone, along with Rex, and talks into it, but ultimately fails when Andy instead ignores his toys and blames his sister Molly for messing with his stuff when he receives no answer.
