The UNSC Beckon Dusk Forth (FFR-054) was a stealth reconnaissance frigate attached to the UNSC Navy and the UNSC Office of Naval Intelligence, UNSC Fleet Intelligence (Section One). As a UNSC Fleet Intelligence reconnaissance vessel, it was part of Operation: PURPLE WILLOW, an ongoing UNSC Office of Naval Intelligence campaign to initiate a massive deep reconnaissance (DR) high-throughput screen of planetary systems, nebulae, or radio sources in the Cygnus Arm of the Milky Way, towards the galactic edge, or towards the Sagittarius Arm of the Milky Way galaxy, towards the Galactic Core and Sagittarius A*. In 2590, the UNSC Beckon Dusk Forth, along with a UNSC special warfare team that included Madeline Son, was dispatched on a reconnaissance mission to NGC 2359, a emission nebula 15,000 lig
