Kip Denton is a fictional character in the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street. Kip is a doctor at Shortland Street Hospital, who had filled in for Dr. Craig Valentine while he was in Australia. He used to date Craig's girlfriend Alice. However, both Alice and Kip have moved on, and he is now madly in love with Tania Jeffries, who he had dated, however they broke up on Valentine's Day 2008 due to Tania's trust issues.
