In 2004, an expedition was sent to Atlantis and listed below are the special designation teams noted thus far in that expedition and their known members. Like SG teams, most members are Air Force, along with Marines and civilian scientists. Atlantis teams are often seen using Puddle Jumpers to explore planets, as the Pegasus galaxy has many Spacegates. Many Atlantis teams are tasked with relief work throughout the Pegasus galaxy, providing food and medical supplies to civilizations on planets that had recently been culled.
