"Shine On" is a single by The House of Love. It was originally released in 1987, but struggled to become a hit, not making it into the UK Top 40. The band continued to receive song placements outside of the Top 40 until, in early 1990, "Shine On" was re-released and made it all the way to number 20. Their second single "Beatles And The Stones" made it to number 36, but afterwards, the band did not have any more hit singles, usually charting around the 50s. In 2006 the song was covered by Apoptygma Berzerk and Stephan Groth.
