Kremkoins are golden coins rewarded for beating Bonus Barrels in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest and Donkey Kong Land 2. There are usually two or three bonus barrels and rewards per level (except for Lost World's), and one is awarded for defeating a boss for the first time. Kremkoins are key items needed to get 100% completion of the game.
