Tōga Kobayakawa (小早川冬芽 Arrival of a Small Stream with Winter Buds) is a talented prospect of the Shinō Academy; he is younger brother to Masatsugu Kobayakawa and youngest son of Hideaki Kobayakawa. He is noticeably interested in the use of Hakuda and has shown talent in the use of his father's Kanseiryū form of combat as well. It seems that Jōshō Hakuya has an unexplained rivalry with him, something which he rarely reciprocates.
