He shares his last name with members of the Langerak family from Sunset Valley; due to the fact that Lunar Lakes was founded by Sims from multiple neighborhoods, it can be assumed that Arthur is a descendant of the Langeraks. Alternatively, Arthur may be a descendant of Kaylynn Langerak from Pleasantview, as he has her hair (which is naturally blond) and green eyes. He is good friends with Stefan Bayless and his fiancée, Gloria Goode. He is disliked by his boss Damien Su.
