The 1966 Capital City 300 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Richmond International Raceway on September 11, 1966. Eventual season champion David Pearson led 242 of the 300 laps in route to a five-lap victory on Buck Baker, Pearson's second straight win.
