Galaar Squad was an elite clone commando unit and was part of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Galaar Squad was one of the few commando squads that were not trained by Mandalorians, having been trained instead by a Corellian sergeant of the Cuy'val Dar. After Order 66 was enacted and Palpatine established the Galactic Empire, Galaar Squad was disbanded and two of its surviving members, Bry and IC-4447, nicknamed "Ennen", joined Omega Squad's Niner and Darman Skirata to form Squad 40.
