Katherine Kavanagh was the head editor of newspaper The Evening News. At first she dismisses the existance of anomalies or dinosaurs running around in the present day, (Episode 3.3) but after going with Mick Harper to an anomaly site she sees a Giganotosaurus and thinks that she's hit it bigtime, revealing herself to be even more greedy for fame and fortune than Mick. Later she is killed by the G-Rex whilst trying to retrieve the camera with the evidence on. (Episode 3.4)
