The Nirvana Combination Rifle was a standard blaster rifle combined with a photonic sub machine gun. a photon machine gun uses a particle enrichment system and electromagnets to propel a 'ball of light' at high speeds, but as this model was compact it required power cells, these came to be called 'clips'.
