Yates Noll is the youngest son of Deirdry Noll. He is the only one of her sons who still lives in Corus and Mistress Noll makes him help her kidnapping and killing children as the Shadow Snake. He commits suicide in May 11 of 246 HE before he can be arrested. Yates has quite a impolite personality and has been in prison for brawling and theft. He only appears in Terrier and dies at the end of the novel.
