Ires' Northern Capital lies on Bedenne Isle, the largest of the Irelenner Isles, and the largest region of Ires. Bedenne is a cold, rainy, mountainous, and windswept Isle, full of rocky green plains, bare of trees and shrubbery, and home to only a few walled-cities. Otherwise, most Irelenners are nomads who go around farming rice, occasionally leaving Ires to raid distant lands. The Northern Capital contains Ricefarm Fief, the ducal seat of the Lord Father of Ires, Duke Sho Yule XVI Jaha.
