The Republic Naval Academy was where cadets learned how to become Republic Navy officers. With locations across the Core Worlds, particularly Anaxes, the Academy was well-equipped to turn out thousands of new officers every Standard year. After the Ruusan Reformation in 1,000 BBY, the schools were converted to use by the Judicial Forces. However, during the Clone Wars these academies were once again turning out military officers. In the wake of the formation of the Galactic Empire, all preexisting facilities were converted to the branch schools of the Imperial Academy.
