Kalla Tora was a heavily populated planet in the system of the same name. There were four other planets, with low-population colonies. It was part of and loyal to the New Republic throughout the Stellar Imperial War. The Kalla Tora system was close to Marstill and G0-CV. Lord Welk of the Stellar Imperium ran into problems trying to fly through the Kalla Tora system en route to Yavin, but was able to escape the small fleet.
