The Duluth Hornets were a senior amateur, then a minor pro team in Duluth, Minnesota. They played in the United States Amateur Hockey Association (USAHA) from 1920 to 1925. After that league collapsed, they played in the new Central Amateur Hockey League, formed out of the remains of the USAHA, in 1925-26. That league turned pro in 1926 as the American Hockey Association (AHA). The Hornets continued in this new league until 1932-33, when they were switched to become the Wichita Blue Jays in mid-season. The Hornets were re-formed in 1933-34 for their last season.
