Reed Sigmund is a Minnesota stage actor who originated the role of Ernie in the Children's Theatre Company world premiere of Bert & Ernie, Goodnight! A longtime member of the Children's Theatre Company, Sigmund's many credits for the theatre include the Genie in Disney's Aladdin, Roald Dahl's The Big Friendly Giant, Cinderella (as Dorcus, one of the Ugly Stepsisters), HONK! (a musical re-telling of Hans Christian Andersen's The Ugly Duckling), Old Max in Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas and the world premiere of A Year with Frog and Toad.
