The skeleton is an adventure map object in the Heroes of Might and Magic series. It first appears in Heroes of Might and Magic: A Strategic Quest. When the hero approaches the skeleton, they have a chance of obtaining a minor artifact or nothing at all. In Heroes VI, it is referred to as old skeleton and primarily provides gold and other resources, rarely providing artifacts.
