Amanda helps Kalas escape from prison so she can kill him in order to protect MacLeod, but he escapes and kills another Immortal to take his sword. She is eventually captured by Kalas who uses her as bait to draw out MacLeod. Meanwhile, Methos returns and recruits Joe Dawson to help him with Christine, the bitter and angry widow of slain Watcher historian, Don Salzer, who is planning to expose the existence of Immortals to the world.
