It retains the "theater rhythm action" gameplay in which players use the stylus to tap and hold notes while fighting enemies. Much like its predecessor, the art style is the same used for the avatars from Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade, [ Kingdom Hearts Mobile] and [ Kingdom Hearts Re:coded].
