"Hatewave" is the flagship PPV for the Connecticut based company, Combat Zone Wrestling. Held at the now demolished Miami Arena, in Miami, Florida on August 30th, 2008. Hatewave grossed the most revenue the company had received up to that point, and shot the CZW into global territory. The events were preceded by an Awards ceremony, and two musical acts played the show, Nine Inch Nails and Common. Jesse Montana retained the CZW World Heavyweight Title against Shawn Waters in the main event.
