Echo Stations were a series of small scouting outposts on the icy planet Hoth and were used by the Alliance to Restore the Republic to keep an eye out for native dangers such as the Wampa and for Imperial activity. They should not be confused for the Rebel Alliance's main base on Hoth, Echo Base.
