The 1981 TranSouth 200 was a national Late Model Sportsman event held at Darlington Raceway on April 11, 1981. Dave Marcis captured his second and final victory of the year, holding off David Pearson (who was the only other car on the lead lap). Eventual season champ Tommy Ellis was 14th.
