The X-Genome Code (XGC), or sign of the beast, is a shinning mark which appeared on the body of zoanthropes during the evenements of Bloody Roar 3 . Each symbol represents the beast form of the fighters and, since Bloody Roar 3, appears each time a zoanthrope transform himself. The effect of the XGC mark varies according to the bearer. For most of them, the mark is a prediction of near death. In Bloody Roar 3, Lanfa fell ill of this mark.
