Elamin IX is the ninth planet in the Elamin system. At some point, William T. Riker was on Elamin IX and broke his arm, the real reason being only known to him and the USS Enterprise-E's CMO, Beverly Crusher. Crusher promised to include the real reason in the report she would put together for the CMO of the USS Titan. (TNG novel: A Time for War, A Time for Peace)
