Rik Torrence was a skilled and cavalier Human male sandspeeder pilot of the Rebel Alliance who was assigned as the leader of Vortex Squadron at Arda I Rebel base around five years after his recruitment after the Galactic Empire shut down a transport corporation in the Outer Rim Territories, Rik's Run near the base was named after him, although he clashed with Var Narek. He survived the Battle of the Gauntlet.
