Michelle Accette was a student who attended Degrassi Junior High School from September 1986 to June 1989 and Degrassi High School from September 1989 to June 1991. She was a shy girl who grew in confidence over the years. When she was sixteen, she moved out on her own as she had a poor relationship with her father, who disapproved of her relationship with B.L.T. Thomas as he was black. She also dated Archie Simpson. Her best friend was Alexa Pappadopolos-Dexter and she was good friends with Simon Dexter and Nancy Kramer. She was played by Maureen McKay.
