Zigzag is the crooked royal vizier that served King Nod of the Golden City. Whilst always having a devious personality, he would eventually be meant by the undead sorcerer Rasputin who would convince him to help his group. Rasputin himself had once served as an advisor to royalty, and convinces him to steal the three mystic golden balls that were said to project the city from evil. However, after Zigzag gets his hands on the balls he discovers that Rasputin ultimately does not intend him to join up with their group and thus whisks the balls away. Hoping instead to forge an alliance with the dreaded King One-Eye.
