The Wall Race was a running contest around the walls of Redwall Abbey. The runners could choose between running on top of the walls or alongside on the grass. After the race, winners drink strawberry fizz with their friends. Usually the Dibbuns and Elders ran the ground portion, and the mid-aged Redwallers, who were fitter runners, ran on the walltop.
