CMS Mergansar (CHG-1) is the eponymous lead ship of the Mergansar-class of cruisers for the Caspian Navy. It represents the first new vessel built after the Imperial War of Aggression and subsequent testbed for an entirely new Naval philosophy. The ship is named for the homeworld of the Sarian people and means "pulled from the original star" in native tongue.
