Duck Jump is Duck Hunt's Up Special Move. The duck grabs the dog by the tail and carries him upward for a short distance before getting tired and falling. The direction they go in can be influenced by the control stick. Duck Jump is an average recovery, covering a decent amount of distance both vertically and horizontally. It is very slow though, making it easy to gimp. It is safest to go the edge when recovering with Duck Jump to prevent punishing.
