Zarkov is kidnapped by a bounty hunter named Genessa and is taken to Mongo, by request of Rankol. The discovery of a Rift makes it into the news. Flash and Dale stay on Earth to stop the news story, while Baylin travels to Mongo in search of Zarkov. Baylin eats chocolate and a toaster pastry. Flash and Dale must additionally deal with a government agent, who is after the Imex.
