Shoko Fuyuumi is a first year music department student showing promise with the clarinet, but has an awful stage fright. Shoko is the only other female in the concours with Hino and the two became good friends. Early on all the participants of the concours as well as Kanazawa Sensei and Shinobu Ouzaki, visit the Fuyuumi summer home for four days and three nights. At the Fuyuumi summer home are practice rooms for the students as well as a great outdoor area and gardens where Kazuki and Kahoko are often found to be practising at.
