St. Adolphus (also known in English as St. Adolph) and his brother John were 9th century Spanish martyrs. Both men were residents of Seville, the sons of an Islamic father and a Christian mother. They were caught up in the persecutions conducted by the Caliph of Córdoba, Abd ar-Rahman II, Adolphus and John were martyred in Córdoba. Their joint feast day is September 27.
