Deep-Cheeps are enemies that appear in New Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. Wii and they appear to be a green variant of the regular Cheep-Cheeps. Unlike regular Cheep-Cheeps, they chase Mario or Luigi or the two Toads to the ground and will only give up and stop when they get a good distance away from them.
