Finn Ward (1969–1993), was a British punk singer and actor. He was known for his auditions at talent shows which ultimately became successful in the late 1980s. On May 1, 1993, Ward killed five children at a daycare. His motive was racism. Two? days later on May 3rd, he was found at the bottom of a lake outside Sheffield, South Yorkshire. In December 2016, a group of people associated with Finn, spoke out about the incident and how he had planned the attack for months, apparently suffering from depression at the time.
