The Japanese Tourist stopped Alf and Audrey Roberts outside Buckingham Palace in London in December 1995, after Alf's OBE investiture ceremony, and asked them to pose for a photograph in their finery. He was seemingly unaware of the couple's state of distress, having just been abandoned by their driver Don Brennan, following an argument. Alf and Audrey politely posed for the tourist.
