The Shadowkiller (斬魔の剣 Zanma no ken) is a Sword that appears exclusively in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. It is not obtainable through normal gameplay in the North American or European releases of the game. This sword is one that, as its name implies, serves the principal purpose of vanquishing the shadows, that is to say, it inflicts effective damage against Monsters. Thence postulated as an effective Class Buster against monster units, said effectiveness is further enhanced by its low Weapon Rank and high Durability, allowing it to not just be equipped by even the less proficient in swordplay, but also last for a long period of time.
