Stu is the straight man of the Wolfpack, and tends to be a bit of a worrywart. In the first film, he dates an unfaithful control freak named Melissa, and is as whipped as a racehorse. Phil eventually convinces him to break up with Melissa. In the second movie, Stu is engaged to a Thai woman named Lauren. She has a stern, disapproving father, who emasculates and belittles Stu, and a younger brother named Teddy, who is something of a child prodigy.
