After being time-shifted from Devil's Island, Doug Phillips and Tony Newman end up in Paris during the French Revolution. Phillips immediately gets arrested and is headed for the guillotine. When Newman is told by a shopkeeper of Phillips’ fate, as innocent people being arrested is common, and Newman sees it is Phillips being taken away, he rescues Phillips. The shopkeeper assists them but ends up getting arrested.
