As writer he contributed stories to the television series The Lazarus Syndrome (1979, starring Nicolas Coster, Richard Herd, and Claudette Nevins), The Righteous Apples (1981), Lou Grant (1979 and 1981), ABC Afterschool Specials (1981 and 1984, the latter one featured Clarence Williams III and Michael Dorn), St. Elsewhere (1986), and The Bronx Zoo (1987).
