First Lieutenant Jared Zasin was a human Insurrectionist. Born in 2488, Zasin joined the Eridanus II Colonial Militia in 2507 as the pilot of a light counter insurgency aircraft after receiving his private pilot's license. During his time in the militia, Zasin came into contact with several Insurrectionists, leading him to join Robert Watts' forces when he began his uprising in 2513. Joining the Venezian militia, Zasin came to command the air arm of the militia, constantly pressing Peter Moritz for better equipment and training.
