Joseph Pevney (b. 1911, d. 2008) is a director of Mission: Impossible. Pevney was an American director who had also directed episodes of Going My Way, Wagon Train, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, The Loner, The Munsters, Star Trek, The Virginian, Adam-12, Bonanza, Emergency!, Petrocelli, The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, and Trapper John, M.D. He also directed the movies The Strange Door, Meet Danny Wilson, Flesh and Fury, 3 Ring Circus, Six Bridges to Cross, Female on the Beach, Away All Boats, Istanbul, Tammy and the Bachelor, The Midnight Story, Man of a Thousand Faces, Torpedo Run, Cash McCall, and The Night of the Grizzly.
