Andrew J. Schwartzberg is one of MAD Magazine's writers and was a member of the magazine's editorial staff from 1990 to 1995. He also writes humorous opinion pieces for the Chandler section of The Arizona Republic. The January 1993 cover of MAD featured Alfred E. Newman carving his own head from a pumpkin, atop a photograph of Schwartzberg's body.
