Discovered by the adherents of the Void of Animus nearly a decade before the invasion by the Charon Dominion and the destruction of Kathol, the Tome was considered a priceless relic of the pre-Republic era, and proved to be the only reservoir of the entire summed knowledge of the Kathol civilization. The Tome proved to be an exception to what was later discovered to be their traditional method of electing members of their race to telepathically contain their people's knowledge within themselves, due to their people's Force augmented mental capacities.
