Thomas Kegan Maisonneuve is the leader of the Neo-Imperial People's Vanguard Party. He is a descendant of the royal family, but has been removed from the Luthori line of succession. His father having been Catholic, but his mother a descended member of royal blood and a protestant, were excluded due to a family dispute over them both accepting Catholicism. His father, not unexpectedly, fought in the Luthori War of Succession on the side of Communist and Atheist rebels with grief as the devout Catholic he is.
