Nimoar, "the Reaver", was the leader of a human tribe of barbarians in Northwest Faerûn. The tribe was one of many to attack a small settlement on the Sword Coast North, but this tribe was the one that succeeded, leading to Nimoar's tribe taking over the settlement and naming it Nimoar's Hold, but this would soon be changed to Waterdeep, the name used by sea captains docking at the harbor.
