The Kinrath Claw is a Special Operations Unit within the Galactic Republic's Military. The unit was specifically created to combat both the lingering threat of the Empire as well as growing or new threats to the revitalized Galactic Republic. Each member of the Claw is unique to one another. Not one Claw is alike in training, skills and techniques. When a Soldier is brought into the Unit it is because they offer a unique skill or ability that could prove useful to the small strike force tactics that the Kinrath Claw are known for.
